General Questions

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes — we offer free, no-obligation quotes. For most jobs, the quickest way is to send over a few photos, rough measurements and your postcode. For larger landscaping work, patios, fencing or commercial maintenance, we may arrange a site visit first.

What areas do you cover?
RB Groundcare is based in Lincolnshire and covers Boston, Spalding, Bourne, Sleaford, Holbeach, Crowland, Stamford, Peterborough and surrounding areas. If you’re slightly outside our normal area, still get in touch — we may still be able to help depending on the size of the job.
Are you insured?
Yes, RB Groundcare is fully insured for your peace of mind.
Do you work all year round?
We work throughout the year, but some jobs are weather-dependent. Groundworks, laying patios, turfing and certain landscaping works can be affected by heavy rain, frost or very poor ground conditions. If weather causes delays, we’ll keep you updated.
Do I need to be at home while the work is carried out?
Not always. As long as we have access to the work area and arrangements have been agreed beforehand, we can complete many jobs while you’re away.
Do you guarantee your work?
If there’s an issue directly related to our workmanship, we want to know about it and we’ll always do our best to put it right. Any specific product or manufacturer guarantees will depend on the materials used.

Do you offer regular garden maintenance?
Yes. We can provide weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or bespoke maintenance schedules to keep your outdoor spaces looking their best year round.
Can you maintain commercial premises?
Absolutely. We offer commercial grounds maintenance for businesses, offices, schools, holiday parks, retail premises and other commercial sites. We can help with regular site maintenance, grass cutting, hedge work, weed control, strimming and keeping premises tidy and presentable.
Do you clean patios and driveways?
Yes. Our professional pressure washing service can restore patios, driveways, paths, decking and other outdoor surfaces. We also offer deep cleaning, moss and algae removal, re-sanding for block paving and re-pointing options depending on the surface.
Can you lay porcelain patios?
Yes — porcelain paving is one of the patio options we can install. We can also advise on preparation, laying patterns, edging and what finish will work best for your space.
Can you repair or relay existing patios?
Yes — if your patio has movement, poor levels, loose slabs or tired pointing, we can often lift and relay areas rather than replacing everything. We’ll advise whether a repair makes sense or whether a full replacement would be better value long term.
Do you install artificial grass?
Yes, we provide artificial grass installations as well as natural turf laying services.
How often should my lawn be cut?
This depends on the season and growth rate, but during spring and summer most lawns benefit from weekly or fortnightly cuts. We can set up a maintenance schedule that suits your lawn and budget.
Can you help redesign my garden?
Yes. Whether you’re looking for a complete garden makeover or smaller improvement projects, we can help bring your ideas to life. If you’re not sure what you want yet, we can talk through ideas, practical options and budget-friendly approaches to help you find the right solution.
Do you remove garden waste?
Yes, we can remove and responsibly dispose of green waste, old slabs, soil, hedge cuttings, fence panels, rubble and other garden debris as part of the job. If waste removal is included, it will be shown clearly in your quote.

COSTS

Pricing & Materials

How much do your services cost?
Every job is different, so pricing depends on things like the size of the area, access to the site, waste removal requirements, ground preparation needed, choice of materials, and whether machinery or extra labour is required. We price each job individually and aim to be clear and transparent from the start.
Do you supply materials or can I supply them myself?
We can do either. If you want supply and install, we source and provide all required materials. If you already have the slabs, fence panels, gravel or other materials, we can quote for labour and additional consumables only. If you’re supplying materials yourself, we’ll advise on quantities and anything else needed so the job runs properly.
Can you help me choose the right materials?
Yes. If you’re not sure what type of patio slab, fencing, gravel or finish is best, we can advise based on your budget, the look you want and how the area will be used. We’ll always try to steer you toward something practical as well as good-looking.
Do you require a deposit?
For larger jobs, materials-heavy work, or where a start date needs securing, we may ask for a deposit. Any deposit and payment terms will always be clearly set out in your quote before work begins.
When is payment due?
Payment terms vary depending on the size and type of job. Smaller maintenance and cleaning jobs are often payable on completion, while larger landscaping projects may be split into staged payments or deposit plus final balance. We’ll always make payment terms clear upfront.

How do I get a quote?
You can contact us by phone, WhatsApp, Facebook or via the website enquiry form. To speed things up, it helps to send:

• Photos of the area
• Approximate measurements if you have them
• A brief description of what you want done
• Your postcode and location
• Any preferred materials or finish

The more detail you can send, the more accurate the quote will be.

Do I need to be home for a quote?
Not always. If access is straightforward and we have enough information, we can often quote from photos or after viewing the job externally. For larger or more detailed projects, a site visit is usually best so we can discuss layout, levels, materials and access properly.
How quickly can you quote?
For most smaller jobs, we aim to quote as quickly as possible once we’ve got enough information. Larger jobs or jobs needing a site visit may take a little longer, but we always try to come back promptly.
How soon can you start?
This depends on our workload, the season and the size of the project. Smaller jobs can often be fitted in quicker, while larger landscaping work may need booking in advance. If you have a deadline in mind, let us know and we’ll be honest about availability.
How do I book in?
Once you’re happy with the quote, we’ll confirm the scope of work, payment terms and an estimated start date. For larger jobs we may request a deposit to secure the booking and order materials.
